This space contains documentation and support materials for OpenCloud's IP Multimedia Service Switching Function (IM-SSF) and Reverse IP Multimedia Service Switching Function (R-IM-SSF) products.
An IM-SSF is a network node within the IMS, defined by 3GPP (TS 23.218). It is a gateway through which operators can transparently provide IMS users access to existing intelligent network (IN) services.
Reverse IM-SSF (R-IM-SSF) the natural complement of IM-SSF. It provides connectivity and access to applications/services in the opposite direction. IM-SSF lets the network operator meet customer needs without replicating all the existing services again in the IMS domain. Unlike IM-SSF, R-IM-SSF is not specified in the IMS architecture.
The latest version of the IM-SSF and R-IM-SSF is 1.4.0.
