What is New in Rhino 2.3 and 2.3.1

Rhino 2.3.1 is compliant to the JSLEE 1.1 specification with a 100% pass rate with the JAIN SLEE 1.1 Test Compatibility Kit (TCK).


New and enhanced features in Rhino 2.3.1

Rhino 2.3.1 builds on the previous 2.2.x releases from OpenCloud. The main enhancements in Rhino 2.3.1 are:

  • Static Domain Configuration — optimisation and scalability of Rhino fault tolerance by using replication domains to achieve better horizontal scaling
  • SNMP Enhancements — SNMPv3 support for enhanced security
  • Named License Buckets — better management of Rhino licensing, for customers to configure licenses for their own services and manage their accounting.
  • Consolidation — bug fixes from all Rhino 2.2 patch releases.
  • MemDB Data Striping ( new in Rhino 2.3.1) — Rhino's in-memory database (MemDB) now supports data striping, to help increase vertical scalability for configurations using replication.
