About the Visual Service Architect

The Visual Service Architect (VSA) lets developers visualize, create, and extend applications in a graphical environment. It's a more intuitive, simpler, and faster way of making SLEE services — so you spend less time building and debugging application frameworks, and more time developing core functionality.

Installing VSA

You can install VSA as an Eclipse plugin or as a standalone application. The VSA User Guide has installation instructions for both versions of VSA.

The standalone version is available from the DevPortal downloads space.

To install the Eclipse plugin, create a software repository in Eclipse using one of the following locations:
