Thanks Bruno, Atif.
To do a callback to the root SBB, should i be attaching the root's sbblocalobject with the aci inside the child SBB? is it something like this...?

RootSbbLocalObject robj=(RootSbbLocalObjectgetSbbContext().getSbbLocalObject();
aci.attach(robj);

All this to be done in the child???

If there are two SBBs and they don't have parent-child relation then how do i call the second SBB from the first..?

If two SBBs don't have a parent-child relationship and you want some kind of orchestration, you can have a shared state (eg, shared NullActivity with the ACI bound to a well-known name or using JSLEE 1.1 profiles) or you can create custom events to fire between SBBs.

To do the callback you need to pass the reference of the parent to the child. Check the following example:

For communication between two independent SBBs, how do i use shared NullActivity? Please give some details on the use of NullActivity.
