JAIN SLEE 1.1 will be released very soon. The RI build is mostly done and the TCK is feature complete. The expert group is finalizing changes to the SLEE 1.1 specification document.
Is there anything you want to know about the RI? ... the TCK? ... how it will be released? ... what license it will be under? Here is the place to ask!

Cool!,
How will be the compatibility with Mobicents?, Will be possible interchange of R.A. or SBB between Rhino and Mobicents?.

Cheers,
Cristian.

In short, that is the idea of portability.

If the RA and SBB use JSLEE 1.1 features (only) then in theory they should "just work" on different compliant implementations.

We are working on putting the 1.1 TCK up on its public site now. Hopefully this will be done shortly (next week or so)

The spec has now hit Final Release, so the specification document, the RI and the TCK are all available.

To download ... see http://www.jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=240

There is signtaure test in JAIN SLEE 1.1 TCK:
tests/api/signaturetest/SleeSignatureTest1_1.xml

But during this test execution it requires jta API to be in classpath. But jta API is not provided with the jain slee 1.1 tck. So, can you add jta api (jta.jar) into the jain slee 1.1 tck?

Thanks, Pavel

Hi Pavel,

We saw this question and the same one you posted on the jsleetck11.dev.java.net forums. We are thinking either to have the TCK documentation link to the "right" download for the jta.jar or to just include it.

We had a quick look at its license and it seems it can be redistributed, we just need to double check that it is OK to do that.

Cheers,
-David

Hello all opencloud!

In previous, JAIN SLEE 1.0 reference implementation there was very interesting tool "verifier". It was used to check if DU is compliant with specification. And currently there is no such a tool.

Is it possible to add this very very useful tool somehow? Into RI or as separate product?

Thanks, Pavel

Hi

As you have observed the verifier is not a standalone tool in the RI.

It is quite useful though ... we will consider this.
